Tutorial Thursday # 3 - Lace Lanterns

#1 - SHOP of the DAY - VintageFashionRetro

#2 - ITEM of the DAY -Vintage Napco Lady Head Vase with White Dress and Pearls 1962 - Collectible, Home Decor
* Ok hello I MUST. HAVE. THIS.

Ok I have an obsession with lace.

Not the new lace people. The lace that smells like it's been in your grandma's attic kind of lace.

I dunno what it is. Does it remind me of my grandma? Of cobblers and the south? Someone please tell me. Should I be on hoarders? That would be a lot of lace.

Maybe it's the ladylike quality that draws me in. I would not consider myself to be overly ladylike.

Don't get me wrong I had my one year stint as a ballerina and I had many a tea party. But then I played sports and that about killed it.

It could be the hope that maybe if I surround myself with enough lace: gloves will appear on my hands, red lipstick across my lips and pantyhose to boot.

If the above happens I've been transported... and please help.

So maybe this is why this tutorial just spoke to that little lady in my heart who loves her grandma's lace. This is VERY simple. I. Love. Simple. and can be used for just about any party I can think of.

Although don't use your grandma's lace as I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate your "modge podge" on her prized possessions.

Not that I know from experience or anything.

Happy Thursday!
